Five years ago, God in his extravagant love, gave YWAM a sailing ship to use for training and ministry.  Its purpose would be to train up the Next Wave of missionary leaders to reach the world.  A DTS on Next Wave will change your life forever.

Do you have what it takes?  Are you ready for adventure?  Are you ready to explore?  Are you ready to go where you have never been before?  The adventure of exploring God and letting him take you to new levels of intimacy is what Bluewater DTS is all about.  Next Wave is a 42 meter sailing ketch purpose built for ministry.  In September, 10-15 trainees will step on board from various parts of the world, to start an incredible journey.  For four months international speakers will give formal lectures joining us en route to our destinations.  This classroom however, is unlike any you have experienced before.  Your week will include intimate level of community living, engaging with various cultures in each port and crew member, and reaching out to the people we meet along the way.  On outreach we will leave the lectures behind to practice being missionaries away from the boat.  In either Europe or North Africa you will spend time immersed in the local culture reaching out and starting ministries in a culturally relevant way.  Each outreach looks different because each participant is different. We have not had a participant like you before. You have something unique to share with people you will come into contact with.   Just imagine the impact a whole group of participants who are passionate for Jesus could have in a nation.
