Marine Reach Caribbean is one of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) ships. We do training aboard a 74 x 22 foot vessel in the Southern Caribbean. We offer YWAM’s Discipleship Training School (DTS), which is a 5-6 month training whose goal is “To know God and Make Him Known.” Generally the first 3 month classroom training is done aboard the ship and the 2 month outreach is done on land. But, we have chosen to partner with the YWAM Barbados base for this school, which begins April 16, 2012. The focus of the school is arts and sports. The aim is to call the artist and athletes to use their talents and passions to reach the lost, for His Glory. Two months of the classroom portion will be on the YWAM Barbados base, and then one month of the classroom training will be aboard the vessel. The outreach starts on June 25, 2012. You will spend approximately 1 month in Barbados working with King Kids camps using sports and arts. The vessel may be used at this time as well. Then you finish in London with the 2012 Olympics joining in the Go 4 Glory one week outreach. Following that is a mega city England outreach. Graduation is August 31, 2012.
