Whilst travelling and visiting many missions God has been developing a vision in their hearts to establish a ‘time out’ boat for missionaries seeking a place to relax, reflect on their experiences, and adjust for upcoming changes.
They have successfully done this in the last 15 years on different sailboats and occations. Now they have continued here in beautiful Tauranga harbour with their 6m tailer sailer. Comments they often hear are: “This is amaizing.  It feels like I have been away for weeks and it’s just since yesterday”.

They have sailed around Europe, in the Caribbean and have crossed the Atlantic twice.

On board the Pacific Link in Fiji, they experienced the joy to serve the last the least and the lost. Sailboats provide an economical way of reaching remote areas. We believe that there will be many going out to the islands carrying hope and a new destiny for the ones on board as well as for the communities in the remote places.

Working for more than eight years with YWAM Marine Reach New Zealand, Markus and Jacqueline have, together with Samuel (now 9), served in many different roles. It is a combination of Member Care, IT support, Counselling and Teaching including outreaches in Fiji with Evangelism, Counselling, Teaching and Optometry. They are also involved in Maritime Training for DTS students in Tauranga.
