Our heart is to serve the outer islands and interior regions of Fiji, taking free medical services to those who do not have access. Medical professionals, Doctors, Dentist, Ophthalmologists, Opticians and Nurses from many nations have given their time and expertise voluntarily to serve the people of Fiji. Since arriving in 2002 we have treated more than 41,000 men, women and children visiting more than 20 of Fiji’s many islands, a number of those we have visited several times. For us this is just the beginning!!
The scripture we hold onto as we continue in missions here in Fiji is “Not by might, nor by power, but BY MY SPIRIT says the Lord Almighty.” -Zechariah 4:6
HISTORY OF MARINE REACH FIJI
Marine Reach Ministries set up a permanent base in Fiji in January 2002. Our ministry includes hosting Discipleship Training Schools, we run Islands in the Sun DTS’s a multi generational DTS for all ages including families and also a Korean DTS. We host teams from YWAM, Church youth, practical, medical. With our ship we have reached many of the more remote islands around Fiji with our Medical outreaches, Dental, Optical, Primary Health Care, Ophthalmology (Cataract Surgeries), With our mobile truck ministry we reach into the more remote interior regions with our Medical teams, Evangelistic teams, Practical teams, Youth and Church outreach teams.
