Yacht Engineer
Marine Reach Ministries is always looking for people to join them in ministry. However in order to join us long-term you must have completed a YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS). If you would like to join us and you haven’t completed a DTS, we do accept interns for 2 months up to 1 year on a case by case basis. There are a variety of opportunities with Marine Reach Ministries available. We are a ministry of Youth With A Mission, and as a result, we have a unique model for financing our ministry. Every YWAM worker, including the founder Loren Cunningham, raises enough funds to meet his or her own financial needs. For most people in YWAM, these funds come from friends, family and churches who contribute financially. If you don’t know how you could fit with us, or are looking to serve in a different capacity, please contact us. We would be more than happy to discuss ways that you could help to support and develop this ministry.

| Summary Description The Yacht Engineer will be responsible for serving alongside a sailing team aboard the sail-training vessel, the s/y Next Wave while it sails around the UK, and the Mediterranean and Black Seas. This 42-metre ketch is registered as a Sail Training Vessel, and as such, it will be running seamanship, navigation and sail training classes on board. The ship is also used for discipleship training and mercy outreach. | |
